Policies
Reservations
The minimum age to reserve a guest room is 21 years old. You must present a valid Drivers License and/or Passport upon arrival. If booking a group, there must be an adult of 21-plus years old in each room. No room should be kids only.
Free Parking
A free, public parking lot is adjacent to the hotel.
Additional Guests
A $30 per person / per night fee will be charged for stays with more than two guests.
Check-In Time
Check-In time is at 3:00 pm, and Check-Out time is at 11:00 am. If you plan to arrive late (after 8:00 pm), please inform the hotel of your estimated arrival time 24 hours in advance. If late Check-Out is requested, there may be additional fees and subject to ability to accommodate your request. The Everett may be able to provide early Check-In time with no extra fee when available.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival date will result in a refund of your deposit minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations received 7 days or less from arrival date will result in forfeiture of your deposit. No-shows and early departures will be charged the amount of the stay in full.
Credit Card Policy
The Everett Hotel accepts all major credit cards.
The Everett Hotel is Not Accessible
The Everett Hotel is a three-story building with one two-room suite on the first floor; stairs to the second floor with 7 rooms and the self-serve concierge area; and stairs to the two rooms on the third floor as well as the rooftop terrace. There is no elevator on premises.
Guarantee Policy
Generally we cannot guarantee any room number or location, although we make every effort to grant special requests.
Breakfast for Hotel Guests
Hotel guests will receive a complimentary breakfast in The Bistro located on the ground floor by the lobby. Breakfast includes an entrée per person from our breakfast menu (Monday - Sunday, 7:45 am – 10:00 am). Coffee, juice, soda and tea are included. Alcohol and espresso drinks are excluded and guests will receive a separate receipt for these items. Gratuities are separate and are up to the discretion of our guests. Please be sure to present your Hotel Guest ID in the Bistro.
Hotel Dining
The Bistro is open for dinner, Wednesday thru Saturday for hotel guests. Non-guests are welcome by reservation only. Limited reservations may be available for non-guests, and will only be taken one week before the desired date requested. Meals, alcoholic beverages and additional services are not included unless specified in a special promotion or package offering.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in any of the rates at the Hotel or Bistro and are at the discretion of the guest, unless otherwise specified.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted. Service Animals are allowed. The Everett Hotel only permits service animals that are categorized as “guide” or “service” as defined by the laws of the American Disabilities Act. If an unauthorized animal is found, you will be subject to a $250 penalty, plus any damages/cleaning fees, and may be asked to vacate the premises. In this circumstance you will be billed according to our early departure rules. If you are traveling with a service animal, please notify the Everett Hotel at time of booking so that we may best serve you at your arrival.
Alcohol
Guests are permitted to bring their own alcohol to enjoy in their rooms. Guests are not permitted to consume personal alcoholic beverages in common areas of the Hotel & Bistro. For the safety and well-being and enjoyment of all our guests, we do not allow guests to bring excessive quantities of alcohol to our Hotel. The quantity that is deemed excessive is at the discretion of the Hotel Management team.
Smoking Policy
The Everett Hotel & Bistro is strictly a tobacco free property and penalty fees of $250 will be applied if you smoke or traces of smoking in the hotel’s premises are found. This includes the smoking of e-cigarettes. It is against the law to tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment.

While The Everett Hotel & Bistro take all responsible steps to ensure the accuracy of all information contained in its brochures, leaflets, website and advertisements, we reserve the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service of facility without notice if necessary. The Hotel & Bistro shall not be bound by any descriptions, prices or other information set out in such advertising or literature, except that nothing in this clause shall affect the Hotel & Bistro’s liability for fraudulent misrepresentations.
Disturbance
Disruptive and/or inconsiderate behavior will not be tolerated. Offensive or illegal behavior could lead to your eviction and police involvement. You must show consideration for our fellow guests. We reserve the right to ask guests persisting in this type of conduct to leave the hotel immediately. In such instances, no allowance will be made for early departure and the full cost of your pre-booked accommodation will be charged. We reserve the right to recover from you any compensation we may pay to other guests as a result of your actions and we reserve the right to refuse any future bookings from you or a member of your party.
Adult Supervision
All children under 13 must be under the constant care and supervision of adults during their stay in the hotel. The legal guardians of children are responsible for the behavior of the children, including any damage and injury they have made. If the legal guardian isn’t present during the stay, then the primary guest at check-in will be responsible.
Rooftop Terrace For Hotel Guests
The rooftop terrace on the third floor is for hotel guests only, and closes at 10 pm. The open fireplace on the terrace is for ambiance purposes only. Guests are required to maintain a safe distance from the fireplace and to NEVER SIT on the edges of the fireplace. Adults are required to supervise their children and use caution around the flames. Never place any objects in the actual fireplace. And cooking of any food over the flames is strictly prohibited. If there is a problem with the fireplace not starting contact the concierge at (828) 488-1976. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX THE FIREPLACE.
Surveillance
The Everett Hotel has surveillance in the public areas of the hotel & parking lot. This activity is carried out for the security for customers and staff.
Personal Property
The hotel will not be liable under this contract for loss or damage to any property belonging to you or your guests while such items are in the hotel. It is your responsibility to arrange suitable security and to ensure that insurance coverage is in place for all items belonging to you or your guests while such items are in the hotel. Each time, when leaving the room, the guest should check if the door is locked and make sure it is closed.
Transfer of your reservation
Hotel reservations are non-transferable.
Damages
If you or any members of your group cause damage or loss of any kind to the hotel, other guests or their property, you (as the person making the booking - Primary Guest) will be responsible for that damage or loss and you shall be liable to pay to The Everett Hotel & Bistro on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage or loss. If you or your group cause damage to the hotel, other guests or their property, or otherwise breach any of these terms and conditions the Everett reserves the right to:
• Cancel your reservation with immediate effect and (if appropriate) eject you from our premises.
• Retain all sums paid by you and/or charge you the full amount of your reservations; and/or
• Refuse future reservations for you.
The Everett Hotel & Bistro will not be liable for any refund or compensation in such circumstances.
Dangerous or Hazardous Materials
Guests must not bring any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials. Use of candles in a guest room is strictly prohibited.
Drug Policy
We will not tolerate drugs or illegal activities.
Penalty Fee
Should a guest be assessed a penalty fee for violation of hotel policy(s), the Hotel accepts no responsibilities of informing the client should the above charges get applied.
The Everett Hotel reserves the right to change/amend the policies of the Terms of Agreement. The Hotel accepts the responsibility of informing guests of changes and providing guests with new policies prior to or upon their arrival.
